RHUBARB: Fresh local Rhubarb has arrived from Comboyne. Stalks are long and fresh. Definitely the pick of this week. Exceptional quality and value. Available for the next two weeks
LEBANESE CUCUMBERS: Cucumbers are officially local and picked from Old Bar, as always quality is superb
SALAD: We are using local salad mix at the moment from Rolland’s Plains, its reliable and quality is excellent. This is available in 2kg boxes or per kg. Also, fancy lettuce is available fresh from Beechwood.
HERBS: How lucky are we to have local-local-local. Herbs include Mint, Chives and Rosemary. Also, Ginger is available from Bago our local grower Som.
POTATO: Sebago potatoes are in season and arriving daily from Dorrigo. Quality is best right now and supply is superb.
APPLES: The sweet granny smith are arriving from Uralla. Skin is blemish free.
CHERRIES: Cherries are also available this week from Uralla. Produce is exceptional and local. Produce from this supplier is limited so make sure you give Ken a call to lock in your box
SUMMER FRUITS: Its certainly summer with our Nectarines, Peaches and Plums are great quality and are in good supply. These are available in large size and also bulk.
Mangoes are arriving from Bowen and are in SHORT supply. Even though they are hard to get the fruit is beautiful. We are hoping supplies will become better closer to Christmas. Fingers crossed
LEMON AND LIMES: Its that time of year again when our citrus is in short supply. Price has increased
WATERMELON: After a few hard weeks of supply, we have now secured great fruit for the next two weeks. Make sure you check it out
SMALL PINES: Who doesn’t like Pina Coladas!! December is the perfect time of the year to eat and enjoy the pineapple. Fruit is ripe and the sweetest this time of year
BANANA: Finally, prices have eased after a few weeks of high prices and short supply. Quality has improved.
BERRIES: Berries will be great quality but the price will reflect this. We only purchase grade 1 fruit. Price will increase slightly.
